Keyboard problems with Internet Explorer

Argh! I hit that note! Why does it keep missing?!??!

If you use Internet Explorer and find that the game sometimes misses notes that you are sure you pressed at the right time then you might want to try one of the fixes listed in this blog post at Kongregate. From the post:

Internet Explorer Tools menu --- Internet Options --- Security tab 
--- uncheck protected mode.

or

Internet Explorer Tools menu --- Internet Options --- Security tab 
--- click -trusted sites - click sites - uncheck require server - click add
(Make sure you also have unchecked protected mode for this zone) This 
will disable it for only the site you add.`

If you don't want to change your security settings then another suggestion is to simply right click on Internet Explorer and select Run As Administrator. We have a test system that shows this problem and running it as an administrator solved the issue. No guarantees but it may be worth a try if you're having problems. Either that or try another browser like Firefox or Chrome.

If you're up for the challenge, we've found that using strum mode (where you have to hit the Enter key for each note) will also prevent this problem.
